What is consignment?
Consignment is like a business partnership. You clean out your closets, we'll select the items we can sell and display them in our store. It’s possible not all items will be accepted for consignment; it is never personal ~ it’s all about what’s in demand at the time. Once they sell, you get 40% of the final selling price or 50% for each item over $50.
How do I become a Consignor?
Drop off your current season, ready-to-sell items at 310 Buffalo Street, Sheboygan Falls after reading our guidelines and selecting an appointment time. Sign a contract, get a coupon and watch your sales online.
How long is the consignment period?
The standard consignment period runs for 90 days, starting when the items are placed on the selling floor.
Who sets the selling price?
Prices will be determined by Tiny Tikes Corner according to what we feel is a fair price for our customer and our Consignor. However, please let us know if there is a minimum price you'd like on particular items.
Do you buy items outright?
We typically only consign items. You will likely make more money consigning.
What items do you accept?
Items must be in READY-TO-SELL-CONDITION! Clothes must be freshly laundered, in current style, and in pristine condition. Please lay clothes as flat as possible, with as little folds as possible in a bin or box (no garbage bags). Limit 3 bins per week. Please don't overfill the bins or bring extra-large bins as they can be very heavy and very difficult to move. No need to bring your clothing items in on hangers. Toys and baby equipment need to be spotlessly clean with working batteries. A full list can be found here.
How will I know whether my items have sold?
A consigned inventory list will be emailed to you shortly after your items have been loaded. All items that have sold can be found here. You will be able to watch the sales of your items as often as you'd like online.
What happens if my items don't sell?
It is your choice to donate your unsold items or pick them up.
How do I collect my profits?
If you choose to spend your profits as in-store credit you receive an additional 5% off. You may also stop in anytime for cash under $100 (we only keep so much cash on hand). Or you may request a check.
